Lisa has nearly 30 years of experience in the defense industry, first as a mechanical analyst at Martin Marietta, then as a systems engineer at The MITRE Corporation, Sanders, BAE Systems, and FLIR Unmanned Ground Systems. She’s led teams that developed EO/IR missile warning systems, expendable and directed IR countermeasures systems, cockpit data recorders, laser communication systems, guided munitions, and remotely-controlled vehicles, on ground, air, and space platforms.
Lisa began successfully using MBSE tools and processes on complex, risky development programs in 2014, and has become a practitioner, instructor, consultant, and evangelist for MBSE methods at two companies. Lisa holds a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, and completed MIT’s xPro certificate program “Architecture and Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems” in 2017.
